In order for you to be able to send an eBill invoice to an invoice recipient, both parties involved must agree to this process. There are two ways of registering as an invoice recipient ("Subscription"):
- Registration by the recipient in the eBill portal
- Registration by biller for recipients with automatic delivery
You can request additional information in an optional registration form.
Please note that you must keep the list of registrations and deregistrations synchronized with your accounting system.
Registration by the recipient in the eBill portal

If the invoice recipient settles a payment whose IBAN number corresponds to one of your accounts entered in Dibito, the user is notified by the bank's eBanking solution of the possibility of delivery via eBill.
You can enter all your accounts for which you want to offer eBill in Dibito under the menu item "eBill settings > Bank accounts". Of course, your invoice recipients can continue to pay your invoices conventionally.
Alternatively, an invoice recipient can also search for invoice issuers in the eBill portal and register with you:

Once the recipient has initiated the registration, they will appear in the list of your registrations:

The recipient status will change from "Request open" to "Active" as soon as a business case with this recipient has been processed correctly.
Registration by biller for recipients with automatic delivery
eBill users can agree in the eBill portal to be found and automatically added by all invoice issuers:

You can send such invoice recipients an eBill directly.
Optional: Registration form
If you need additional information from the invoice recipient, create an optional registration form. For example, you can request a user name:

You can see the additional form details in Dibito in the "Recipients > Registrations > Events" view:

You can design the registration form under the menu item "eBill settings > Registration form". Please note the following points:
- Try to keep the form as simple as possible. A maximum of three additional fields are permitted.
- At least the default language must be available, other languages are optional.
- You can change the general company details (logo, address, etc.) under "eBill settings > Invoice issuer > Public display details".

List of registrations and deregistrations
Dibito offers you two ways to check who you can send an eBill to. You can see the list of all eBill participants registered with your invoice issuer under the menu item "Recipients > Registrations". In this view, you can also see all registration and deregistration events.
Export the list of your recipients as a CSV file to compare it with your accounting system. Recipients with the status "Inactive" can no longer be supplied.
You can use the Dibito API for programmatic integrations into your accounting system. To do this, query the login events or install a webhook.

Alternatively, you can check entire lists of recipients under the menu item "Recipients > Bulk search":

How do I find the eBill identification of my contacts?
For private individuals, the eBill identification is the e-mail address. Please note that each private individual can only enter one e-mail address in the eBill portal. This e-mail address may not correspond to the contact's primary e-mail address.
For companies, it is the company identification number (UID). You can find the UID of every Swiss company in the federal UID register. (Example: CHE-428.851.403).
You can find out whether you can send an eBill invoice to a person or a company in the Dibito interface under the "Recipient" menu item. There you will also find the 17-digit recipient ID from the eBill portal. This remains constant, even if, for example, a private individual changes their e-mail address.
